A NEW APPROACH OF SURFACE ENVELOPING, BASED ON THE DISCREETLY SURFACES REPRESENTATION, IN ORDER TO ALGORITHMIZE AND INFORMATIZE THE GENERATING TOOLS PROFILING
It exist an obviously interest in prediction and adjustment of generation errors by software.
The integrated design, machining and inspection systems (CAD/CAM/CAI) encourage the developing of surfaces generation with smaller errors.
At surfaces generation by enveloping the tool shape correction problem regarding the generation results may be make using the geometrical modeling, which is based by methods for reciprocally enveloping surfaces study (Gohman, Willis, minimum distance method, substitutive circles family, in plane generating trajectories, solid modeling). The general objective of project is to realize a new coherent and versatile approach by changing the enveloping surfaces concepts from an analytical representation based approach to a surfaces (profiles) representation as these result by on machine measurement (OMM) specifically meanings. In the same time, will be realized some specifically algorithms for enveloping generating tools profiling, as so as, the software dedicated to these problems, in order to solve the shape correction of generating tools and the adjustment of generating errors of machined surfaces.
